This is a placeholder for discussion about the races people are doing for the 2009 racing season.
If we all post our races, it may help with logistics, traveling, lodging, etc.
Registration at Setup Events starts as early as Friday!
Update your USAT membership first.
Then login and update your Setup Events profile with the new membership expiration date. Get this done BEFORE Friday – avoid the server meltdown that has happened the last 3 years.

I’m taking it a bit easy on the racing this year to save my body and my money
Feb 28: Crystal Coast HM (Morehead City)
May 9: Kinetic HIM
June 7: Either Kerr Lake or Jordan Lake 1 mile open water race
August 30: IMLou
After that I am going to sit on my arse and eat bon-bons for a couple of months

no commitments thus far. raleigh rocks 1/2 marathon is april 5 – i’m considering it – hopefully they’ll provide some of the basics (water, cups, mile markers, etc.) this year.
let me know if anyone else is considering a fall 2009 marathon…perhaps even NYC or Chicago.

We were talking NYC in 2010. I will probably take Heidi’s lead after the IM… bon-bons sound pretty good

Only three I’m registered for at this point are:

White Lake Sprint 5/3
Triangle Sprint 7/12
The rest will depend on how I feel and what’s left (racewise and fundwise)
