The need for Coffee……

February 4th, 2007 · 3 Comments

Well I learned during our run this Saturdays 2/3, that not being late to work and more importantly the need for coffee before not being late for work has a way of putting a spring in my step. By the way, I did get my coffee, and was only about 5 minutes late for work. Of course the coffee is what gave me the ability to get everything together to get doors open on time and jobs completed. Coffee is great…. So the next time anyone needs that extra push. Think coffee….

I was so late for my son’s swimming lesson that I did not get to finish my coffee. Had a headache all day. It was great to see everybody, though. Especially our fearless leader, Captain M. Looking forward to seeing everyone again on Saturday.

Terp, How was the Super Bowl? Because you saw it live, you missed one of the funniest Doritos commercials in history, which, I’ll have you know, was filmed at Waverly Place, about 500 yards from my office here in Cary.

The Super Bowl trip was a blast..except for the rain, of course. I’ll email everyone some pictures when I get a chance. It really was an incredible experience…from seeing Hall of Famers Tony Dorsett and Lynn Swann in the hotel lobby, to the pre-game and halftime shows, to the game itself. Of course, the sun came out as the plane was leaving Miami back to Raleigh on Monday…but you cannot control the weather.

It was a great run in Saturday. Nice to see John M. after all those months…and Steve and Anita too!

P.S. If you’re a Gold’s Gym member, the Pleasant Valley location just opened up (they renovated the old Best Buy space). All new equipment. Very nice!
