Mmmmmm. Cake. Carrot Cake. Ya so, I ‘Aged Up’. Well, just a bit in my march to 40. Not there yet. I’m hoping to get faster so I can get older – those old guys are FAST!
Anyways, the crew welcomed me to 37 after I gimped along with my sore knee through 9 miles on the Bridge to Nowhere run. Rap Master left early after seeing this beast:
The birthday crowd ran 10.5…
And the solid few banged out 20+ including our newest member, BelkyMd.

Happy Birthdy Rama! Wishing you pain free range of motion in the year ahead! Question for the group…Is anyone running the City of Oaks Marathon/Half Marathon on 11/4? I felt inspired on Saturday and signed up for the Half….

I’m glad you didn’t have a hidden camera back at my car to capture me when I finally finished my run, although the beast (above) bares a striking resemblance. Special thanks to Holly and BelkyMD for sticking to a modified-Terp pace. We’re all done wth our longest training runs…and I’m looking forward to TAPERING.
Good luck to Sandbagger, Squeeky, Lit’l Bit, KarenG8tor and RapMasterSass this Sunday in AZ.
Good luck as well Mittdog at the Marine Corps Marathon!

I know Dr. Feelgood is running it. I plan to be there at the finish line. I’ll look for you. Good luck.

Herbs, I am running the city of Oaks marathon. Let me know if you want to meet up. Good luck to the AZ crew and to Mittdog this weekend. I will be passing what little energy I have your way. Thanks to Holly and Rob for a great 20 miler on Saturday. I got over my mental hump of running at Umstead.
