I can start as early as 6 a.m. I think that’s what we did on some of our longer marathon training runs last year.

Is anyone up for 12 SLOW miles? I feel the need to start increasing miles as we prep for the fall marathons.

Umstead sounds good. Let me know the starting location.

6am would be helpful for me… thank you. Maybe it will be cooler??
If we start at the “bridge to nowhere” then we could do part more flat toward Bond Park and part hills & dirt in Umstead. Those who do not want to go 12 could just do one part. I do not know…Karen!! what are you thinking.

Rama do you have an extra camera cord? I have some good Triangle Tri pictures I wanted to share & I can not find my cord. There a couple really good ones of Rap Master. By the way everyone he had a really nice race.

I am up for 12. I need to do 12. I need to do something to flush out that Bermuda Rum. Too many Dark and Stormy’s.

Just name the place. 6 am is fine with me.

Shall we pull the trigger and say Bridge to Nowhere? If so, for anyone who is unfamiliar with the Bridge to Nowhere, here are the directions:

Directions From I-40: Take I-40 to the Harrison Avenue Exit. Turn toward Cary/SAS (away from Umstead entrance) and go a few blocks to Weston Parkway. Make a right on Weston Parkway. Follow Weston Parkway about 1/2 mile and make right on Old Reedy Creek Road…there is a business called DYOSYNTH on the right so you will know where to turn….go about .4 and you will see the I -40 Overpass to Nowhere and Lake Crabtree on your left. Park just before the overpass.

Hope to see everyone, old faces and new faces (Elvis and Smooter/Shrink/Mad Hatter).

I’m in. Not sure I can make 12 miles, but I’d like to see everyone again. Sorry, Dr. Feelgood, but I could not talk the Judge into Surf City this weekend.

Great run this morning. Welcome to everyone who joined us for the first time today (or who I met for the first time today).

Glad that no one hurled this morning – again, great picture Rama.

Have a great week everyone! See you next Saturday.

Hey, guys. That was a great run this morning. I didn’t have a lot of steam (hot air, yes; steam, no) but the conversation and jokes (though lame) kept me going. Can’t wait until next week’s run, then the Mission Man. Peace, my friends.
