Another Nerding Out Night. Here’s what I did:
- Got the db back from the brink of destruction
- Wrapped up the RSS feeds so there would be some other fun stuff in the sidebar
- Backup up our entire current blog to – TriCary.com. Just a placeholder in case disaster strikes again.
- Polls!
Getting the db back makes me feel a huge sigh of relief, but y’all don’t really care about that. What you want is EYE-CANDY and functionality!
I give you (drum roll please)…
POLLS!
My thought is that we can have a 1 or 2 week lead time and vote for the run every week. Let the unwashed masses have their day! Let freedom ring! Let them eat cake!
So, on a recurring basis, vote for the run you want to do. It’s totally anonymous, but if the one that wins is not the one I want, I will definitely go back and rig the database to give me whatever results I want.

Good Luck to all Umstead Marathoners on Saturday! Is anyone else doing the 6:30am run on Saturday? Also, are any MM’s going to Umstead to spectate on Sat? Let me know…. maybe we can meet up…. therbs@bellsouth.net

I’ll probably run this Saturday. Rama will have to let us know the winning location.
I’d like to catch a little of the Umstead Marathon. I need to coordinate with a swim meet for my daughter later in the day.

Herbs – Karen and I will be volunteering from 9-11 with parking, so we’ll definitely be there. I hope to stay for a while after that so I can see the MM’ers finish with smiles on their faces!!
