In the ‘More Geek then Jock’ department, I stumbled upon MotionBased, which is a web based service that you can use in conjunction with a gps device to track your workouts. The web based system takes data from your gps unit (time, distance, water breaks, lollygagging, sprinting, elevation and even heart rate), and allows you to plug it in to your account, so you can track your workouts, make fantastic posters of your trek, and even download other people’s workouts so you can ‘race’ them.
They have a free account, and a paid account – the paid account gives you a few extra features like a longer history, and the ability to do more reports (in case you didn’t have enough reports to do already).
Works on Macs too.
Yes, they have a blog.
