Our spam filter for the blog (yes even blogs need spam filters) has now caught over 1,100 spam comments. Add up all of the blog posts, and the corresponding comments, and we are probably around 150 comments. So we roughly get 10 times as much spam for the ham.
The point of this post is that sometimes the “ham” gets caught in the spam filter. If you post something and don’t see it, let me know so I can dig through the gooey slimy filter with my bare hands and pull out your comment – I would hate for your comment to end up in the body-part enlargement/rich-Nigerian-widow pile.
