So …..
Apparently a fall which cracked open a normal, run-of-the-mill bike helmet is not NEARLY enough to keep our dear dear dear sweet dear KarenG8r down. Hey, handlebars pointing the wrong way? She still wanted to ride! CT Scan?!? We don’t need no stinking CT Scans! She is one tough woman!
I won’t go into all the details here – as I don’t quite have them all. But one tidbit that I would like to relay which came from Litl’bit was that she was really worried about how much we all were going to worry about her.
Litl’bit also took a spill, which she is probably downplaying as well.
Seems like everyone is mostly OK – could have been much worse.
One thought I had, and need to figure out the details for – is to create a complete ICE list of sig-others that we can all have handy, for cases just like we just had. Will post about that later.
We are all very happy to hear that everyone is OK, plus or minus some bike parts, a helmet, and some scrapes and bruises.

Thanks for that hearty laugh! I love the helmet and think Karen (tough-stuff) will look quite heroic in it…

And here I thought I was just super fast heading down that hill, leaving everyone in the dust – it’s an odd feeling to turn around and see no one behind you! I think the image of bikes laying everywhere and people crowded around my troops will leave me scarred for quite some time

Mr.Sandbagger comes thru in a clutch situation once again with some much needed humor!! Actually…I was SO lucky!! All my parts are attached and working …. my bike will be good with a little work soon. And I’ll be making a new fashion statement with Sandbagger’s helmet suggestion. Herbs, Stabu and Litl’ bit….sorry for the scare….you guys were great!!!
