I am finitely swimming at MAFC from 6-7pm on Thursday. Who’s joining me?
Also hoping to get a run in…….anyone?
I think we may be due for 18 on Saturday? Is that right? :/

Kendal – I’m in for swimming tonight – can we swim in our wetsuits??
Funny, there was one under the tree Christmas morning…
Not sure about Saturday, I’ll probably do just 10 or 12, but I think 18 would seriously do me in after the steady stream of junk food my body has consumed over the last couple of days

Anyone up for an umstead trail run tomorrow morning. I was thinking about doing the sycamore 7m loop starting from the glenwood park entrance.

I don’t know that I can do 7 before doing 18 on Saturday. I was thinking 5 or 6 today. I have to think about it. What time tomorrow?
JohnM, how was the run & concert? Will you keep us entertained with stories on Saturday?

Hiedi…. with a wetsuit under the tree does your family now believe in Santa? I look forward to seeing you tonight.

I’m up for 10-12 on Saturday. Looks like we’ll need wetsuits for the run…or at least rain jackets. At least it will be warm! Are we running Umstead (BTN) or Shelley or elsewhere?

Terp, good idea about the wetsuits on the run…I’m on it! I’ll run wherever – no rush this weekend, and I may be even be able to go to starbucks for the post-run cocktail that I never seem to have time for.

hey belkymd (and anyone interested) I’m up for an a.m run tomorrow 6:45-7am at Umstead (5-6 mi)…I only know the bridge to nowhere and the Harrison Ave entrances…Any takers?
Also, Diablo (my sister from NY) will be joining us for the Sat a.m. run! She’s looking forward to meeting the MM’s.

I’ll be in Ohio and I have the annual Circleville-to-Canal Winchester 20 miler. I’m the only entrant so I’m sure to do well! My brother drops me off and I run back to his house through the farmlands. I love it! Have fun in Umstead and other places!

I am up for 12 tomorrow. I need to do 12. I hope I can do 12.
I have done nothing but eat and sleep this week. I would like to say I have been a slug, but I think slugs move more than I have this week.
6:30 at BTN?
11 terp // Dec 28, 2007 at 11:24 am
BTN at 6:30 sounds perfect

This slug is in!

12 sounds much more reasonable for slug #3.
I will be there. BTN @ 6:30am…

I am in for tomorrow morning. Fgump and I are looking to do 20m based on our schedule. Not really looking forward to it. I will need some entertainment from mitdog, perhaps some singing. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
PS> Herbs, sorry I didn’t get back with you last night about running today. I took a nasty spill night running and was couch bound when I returned home.

Now we know a terp is slower than a slug. Good run today. Still hard to believe the great weather.
Let me know if anyone else is interested running the Sycamore 7-mile single track trail on Jan. 1 (in the morning).

Good run today miterling milers! The slugs were out in full force. It was a miserable 20 miler today as I had not anticipated the warmer temps and got really dehydrated to the point of dizziness. Thanks to Fgump for bailing me out with his extra supplies. We ended up doing 19 and walking the last mile. Well, I kind of floated the last mile and had double vision. Not good! It was great to see everyone and I hated to split off at the 6m marker. Take care!
PS> Terp, would love to run Sycamore with you tomorrow however I am solo with my son while my wife is out of town. Another time!
