Resting Saturday, in preparation for Sunday’s race. By the way, would anyone have a Garmin 205 or 305 they might be willing to loan me for Sunday? I’ve got a specific pace in mind, and could really use the electronic kick in the pants when I begin to drift from it…

Hope you have a good run Saturday, and looking forward to catching up with you all soon.

Gump, you are welcome to borrow mine.

Good luck to you, KarenG8r, Terp, Belky, Dr. FG, the Cramps, and everyone else running City of Oaks.

Good luck to Herbs as he crosses the chip pad in Staten Island.

And congrats to Topher for a great Soma half.

Congrats to Squeeky, too, who has now worn the finish off the floor between the couch and the fridge.

Good luck to all of the marathoners and half-ers this weekend!! Squeeky, I’m not sure what to say about your new life as a couch potato.

I’m out this weekend, too much going on Saturday with b-day parties, halloween parties, …I should be on nice sugar crash by Sunday if anyone wants to brave the cold on a bike with me. Sarg on a sugar crash promises to be mildly entertaining :)

    Squeeky-
That is awesome. Thank you very much. I know yours has good race mojo! I’m planning to go hit the race expo Saturday morning (opens at 10), so will be out and about anytime after about 9:30. Shoot me an email with a good time for you (fgump at bellsouth dot net).

Best of Luck to Belky, Karen, Terp, and Dr. Feelgood on Sunday’s City of Oaks! Have a great run and enjoy the endorphins…! I’ll be thinking of all of my southern buddies who have motivated me and kept me running this past year in preparation for the Sunday’s NYC 26.2! You MM’ers rock!!!

Good luck in NYC herbs! I suspect that you are carb loading tonight and tomorrow with a few horseradish sandwhiches? Good luck to the rest of my fellow COO runners! fgump, I might see you at the expo on Saturday.

Just saying hi. Haven’t seen you in a while, and I miss you. Good luck to the racers!

I’m out tomorrow morning. Scanning the list and I see there is only one! MitDog you get to pick wherever you want to run!

  • 11 MitDog // Oct 31, 2008 at 8:48 pm

OK; I shall miss you all. My friend Mitch (and possibly Jeffrey) are going to do 8 miles from Shelley Lake. Stevie, have your keister out there for us to see (in those tight bike shorts) and come ride with us. Peace out.

I am out tomorrow. Big soccer tourney and a superhero birthday party. I will have to run early from the hood. Hope everyone has a great run wherever they do it.

Congrats to all who raced. Extra special congrats to BelkyMD who crushed 4:00 on a TOUGH COURSE! Man, who would’ve thought a 3 mph headwind on Hillsborough Street could be so cruel…
I hope this marathon sticks this time. Great scenery, great volunteers, and only 1 angry Ebenezer Church Road resident (who wanted dearly to run several of us down about mile 11 this morning when she couldn’t get her Starbucks fix…we all know how THAT is!!)
Squeeky, thanks for the Forerunner-I’ll return it tomorrow.
