Seems to me I remember that being a very hot day!

I am in for a run Saturday. Could be a little tired cause Kenzie will be in town & she always keeps me up later. It is great when your 23 year old is excited about being home and hanging out with her mom :)
I have no distance or place preference. I am just counting days….. 13 days till they set up the next surgery…. let’s do it!

I’m running a 5k with my sons at Fleet Feet…SuperDad or something like that. It has challenges along the way (flip cup, cornhole, limbo). I decided last night that my boys and I needed to practice flip cup…they both got it on the first try. It took me 10…should I already be nervous about their college party skills???

2.8 miles of HILLS, pushing a jogging stroller with 1, sometimes 2 kids in it, in 90F temperatures and 100% humidity, with Lainey running with us taking photos…challenge 1 lace up a shoe; challenge 2 cornhole; challenge 3 flip cup. I beat Web on the lacing of the shoe, but he crushed me on cornhole and flip cup, and crossed the line ahead of me to complete 2.8 miles in 30:33. That ended up being Lainey’s fastest race pace ever as well. We won “Large Family”!

Tons of fun, followed up with breakfast at Big Ed’s with the family…mmm mmm good.
