Hey, I’m looking for some people to run with me this Saturday morning…can I join you fine folks? I’m looking to do 11 miles at a 10:30 pace, but if anyone wants to run fewer miles at that pace then at least I can have a little bit of company. My usual running partner dropped me like a bad habit this weekend.

Welcome RIR Don’t listen to Sandbagger cause no one else does. Although he does set up a pretty nice web page so we have to give him some slack…
    I am in :)

We need to discuss an open water swim sometime soon…. who’s up for that?

Sweet. I’ll see you guys at the BTN tomorrow morning at 6:30. I drive a red Vibe and will be wearing black shorts and a blue/black tank.

I think I need to start working on a real nickname before I get there…I fear for what might be assigned to me if I don’t.

Oddly enough, even if you come up with your own name, there are others who think they can come up with better ones ;)

    Signed,
    er…Sarg?

    Hey Milers-
This coming Monday marks the 14-week point before City of Oaks. My wife has indicated she might could be convinced to run the full this year, and I will run it with her. That being said, can someone talk me out of wanting to sign up for Richmond, which would be 13 days later? I would run City of Oaks at my wife’s pace, as a long training run. My run base is still pretty good from the Umstead build, currently 25-30 mpw.
