Looks like we should postpone til at least Sunday. Or we can make snow angels and snowmen and skip the run and just go to Starbucks. Maybe flying saucers down the hill repeats?

Pinewood derby Saturday morning will force me to defer to Sunday. 18 on the plan, if anyone wants to join! BTN-BOB (bridge over beltline) and back.

Sounds like we have some votes for Shelley. Can we opt to run Sunday if the weather is bad? Shall we clarify “bad” and set time & place for both days?….. You know, just incase the NC weatherman is actually right

I’m flexible either day…and Shelley sounds good if the roads are clear (you never realize how hilly Millbrook is until it’s icy…like five years ago when Raleigh came to a standstill during evening rush hour).

I’m still planning to run Sunday, regardless. I’ll try starting from BTN. If I can’t get there, I’ll go to Hillsborough Street and start on that end. Still not sure what time it’ll be, but will post back here Saturday when I confirm. Enjoy the weather!

Luckily a live a few miles up the greenway from Shelley so I am going to run down there from home Saturday morning — unless it’s absolutely horrible! If so, we’re going sledding and have hot chocolate! Stay safe!

I will watch the site and hope we can do something Sunday. If there is snow, a trail run like BTN or ATT might be safer than Shelley–just my 2 cents. Look forward to seeing y’all on Sunday!

I plan on being at the intersection that goes up to the parking lot @ 6:30. There’s a bench and a sewer thingie (lovely!) at that spot. If it’s too icy we’ll make it another time but I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I’m going out and back to Capital Blvd so you can pick a turn around anywhere along there. Stay safe!

It was beautiful but cold! I froze my Shot-Blox! And my Camel-Bak! Slow going but safe enough on foot. Sorry I didn’t see you Belky — have fun tomorrow!

I completed a rare triathlon today. 5K run around the neighborhood, followed by shoveling the driveway, topped off with sledding in the back yard with Abby.
I’ll see you guys next week. No plans to drive anytime soon!

Nice tri Terp! I opted for some early morning snow lovin with the wife in lieu of braving the teen degree weather with Seuss. Sorry Seuss! I did however go for an afternoon run down to Shelly where there were at least a hundred partying sledders. Pretty funny to watch! Hope to see everyone next week! Take care!

Sledding, eating, drinking, more sledding, more eating, more drinking….finally got on the treadmill for a few miles this evening. I am snowbound at home, so will do my long run as 3 loops from home tomorrow…so won’t be in Umstead as planned
