My first 20-miler of the season coming up. I would love some company in Umstead!

I will run up to 10 this Saturday. I have to do Starbucks (essential) then be back home by 10:00 AM. So, I’m with you half of the way.

I’m in for about 18-20 in Umstead. I’m going to have to do it sometime!

I’ll be running early at home so Mr. Stabu can go run Little River! Have a great run :)

I am sporting a little cold. I may have to make a last minute decision…

I have 9 hilly miles on the schedule. I will try to haul my butt out of bed and run in the cold weather.

Good to see the Milers this morning. Litl Bit was running point this morning, and it was all I could do to keep pace with her. Dr Seuss and I peeled off on Turkey, and met BelkyMD on his return back up Turkey from finding out that he couldn’t ford the creek…er…river on Cedar Ridge. So, we all soldiered through the Turkeys together, coming back down Graylyn, up to Reedy Creek. Dr Seuss and I happily marched down Cedar Ridge, forgetting that the hill went both ways, and that we would have to scramble back up it eventually. Which we did. Eventually. :) It plots out at about 17 miles from start to finish, so close enough to 18-20 for government work.

Y’all have a nice week. I’ll be thinking about you as I float my cares away aboard Navigator of the Seas this week ;)

Sorry to miss you guys on Saturday! I needed to get our early so that I could get through my first long run of the season and then get back home for some family time. I was happy to run into Fgump and Dr. Seuss on Turkey. While I enjoyed the company, my legs didn’t enjoy double duty on the hills late in the run. I am paying for it today. Take care!
