Wow Terp — hope you are feeling better real soon–please come have coffee with us as soon as you can! Good luck Stabu–I don’t envy your rain run–seems I remember one of those at OBX and it was not thrilling! Anyway, see you all at 6:30 at BTN. I have no idea how far I will run–likely will depend on the weather–if the weather cooperates MitDog might even convince me to do 14–you never know!

Terp, you take the prize for the absolute best pass for a rainy day run! Recoop fast! Fgump, your job may be to take my bib number and finish the race for me! If you won’t do that, can I have chocolate please? Considering the rainy forecast, I may run my 10 miles tomorrow if I see a dry spell. I don’t think I’ll drive all the way to Umstead to get wet on Sat though.

I’m out this week (and the next few weeks). I finally have a good excuse. I had my appendix and a small section of my large colon removed yesterday (long story – Dr. Feelgood can give you all of the details.) The doctor told me to not run for a few weeks…but I’ll definitely try to join everyone for coffee before then. I look forward to seeing everyone soon.

I’m out. I’m heading to Morehead City this weekend for what will apparently be a very wet, windy half marathon I think I will wear my rain boots. I’m sure they will be fine as long as I remember to put my orthotics in first.

I’ll try to join you for a few miles Saturday…I only have 4 to get in. Long run on Sunday.

Dr. Seuss and BelkyMD, I’ll be stationed at the Sycamore/Graylyn intersection for the marathon. Not sure what my job will be yet, but I’ll have a variety of Gu flavors handy should you need one .
