I am in. I am running in honor of Missy Thang, who tore her Achilles tendon at the musculotendonous (easy for you to say) junction and still finished a marathon!

I’ll be there and glad to run the Shelley area — though I love Umstead too! On another note, I know we have a lot of civic-minded folks in our group. I’m organizing a group of people to meet At Operation Sharehouse on Sat to stuff 5000 food packets that will be shipped to Africa. So far, I have church friends, foreign exchange students, and children from ages 5-17 taking part. If you’d like a family-friendly activity to give back to others during the Holidays, let me know. We’ll be working from 10 AM until noon in N Raleigh. Thanks!
