hi all – i am back in for a run tomorrow. i have to go fairly long – looking at doing Turkey Creek loop. i got accepted into a low key 50k in CA so I need to get some distance on soft stuff.

Wish I could join Saturday, but Mrs. Gump and I are sprinting up at Mayo Lake. My first (and probably) only triathlon this year. How sad.
Welcome back Sandbagger, have a great run!

Mayo Lake = Fun Sprint! Pretty location, picturesque country swim, challenging/rolling bike, and a TRAIL RUN! It was like Company Mill…roots, rocks, and ruts.
Won’t bore you with the details, but I had my usual bottom 25% swim, mediocre T1, 3/29 AG, 14/151 overall bike, little better T2, and a 1/29 AG, 9/151 run. The run felt like running through molasses, I felt that slow. But it was fun! Sprints are hard, but done quickly, so the pain doesn’t last too long…
