Here is the first YouTube posted. Why? Because it’s almost Friday, and I think we need to have a “Casual Friday” post. But it’s not Friday you say. Well we need to practice. Mainly I need to practice – embedding a YouTube video so it shows up all nice and formatted right in the blog post.

Let’s recap:

* First YouTube post
* Casual Friday practice
* Blog admin practice

Here we go:

Thanks to a little help from here:

    Okay, so you know how I said I was giving up coffee? Well that hasn’t gone all that great so far. Too many late nights and early mornings. By the way, that was me in the video clip above.

    I did have a few back-up sacrifices that I have kept successfully, so I am still okay.

    As for coffee, I keep thinking about that Reader’s Digest I once read while waiting to get my teeth cleaned. It had an article about quitting smoking and suggested buying the worst tasting cigarettes you could find and forcing yourself to smoke them; the theory being that the bad taste of those cigarettes would drive you away from the habit altogether. Obviously, this therapy was developed by a very well-intentioned nonsmoker. Whoever heard of a good tasting cigarette. And think of all the different types you would have to smoke just to find one that you decide does not taste good. My problem is that I have never met a cup of coffee I did not like. Okay, maybe once, but it was late, and I am not sure that was even coffee in that cup I found on the sidewalk.

    Ah, have to go. The coffee is ready.

    We need to set-up a Saturday run around North Hills. There are three Starbucks within a three block radius…two standalone Starbucks and one in the Target (commonly called Tarbucks).
