2007 Boston Marathon
Good luck Guys. We will be watching you.

For those who want to track Jon and John, Here are their bid numbers:

Jon: 22115

John: 20309.

I think my office will be getting e-alerts for Rap Master.

Let’s hope for a change in the weather. The following was pulled off the BAA website (looks to be dated 4/13):

FORECAST:
The most up-to-date weather forecast calls for a predicted Spring storm on Monday, including heavy rains (potentially 3 to 5 inches), with the start temperatures in the mid to upper 30′s. Wind will likely be East (in the face of the participants for most of the race) in the 20 to 25 mile per hour range, with gusts to as much as 50 miles per hour. This will produce a wind chill index of 25 to 30-degrees Fahrenheit.

Weather.Com says this:
Rain / Wind
High of 46°F
Precip 100%
Wind: ESE 32 mph
Max. Humidity: 79%

    Thanks, guys. We really appreciate the support. I’ll know if John is around when I hear the crowds screaming: “Go, Dainer Fahbah!”

    I’ll be wearing the hideous green frog jersey of OLN fame — unless it’s raining. Then, I’ll be one of 15,000 wearing a yellow jacket.

    Alex, please be sure to call my Blackberry every hour between now and 5:00 tomorrow morning.

    You can also track our buddy Alan Wiggs, #22564, who has promised to kick my butt. Smart money says I’ll be drawing away from him the first 10 miles, and slowly sucked back in from then till he passes me walking up Heartbreak Hill.

    Why stop at 5 am? I’m calling all thru the race. Here’s to you both. Go experience something great.

    And please post a comment on Tuesday to tell us how it was!

    Congratulations, John! I looked for your cheery face every time I heard the “Dainer Fahbah” fan clubs.

    One heck of a race on virtually no training. And for such an important cause.

    You are my hero.

    I saw . . . skinny people.
    Everywhere I looked.
    (Some of them did not even know they were skinny.)

    Scrawy little runners yakking on cell phones;
    Stretching their legs, showing just skin and bones.

    Bragging how they don’t eat no meat,
    Wearing $200 sneakers on they skinny little feet.

    Don’t want no skinny people round here.
    Skinny people got no body mass;
    Skinny people can kiss my fat ass.
    Don’t want no skinny people round here.

    Skinny people don’t like to have fun;
    Skinny people never smile when they run.
    Don’t want no skinny people rouind here.

    MY SECOND TIME

    My second time was different from my first.

    My second time . . .

    It didn’t hurt as much.

    Not so many people were watching.

    I didn’t stop halfway through to use the bathroom.

    I sweated less.

    No police officers asked if I needed assistance.

    I kept my hat on.

    My partner made some cell phone calls.

    I remembered to use Body-Glide.

    There was more screaming.

    We started off wet.

    I didn’t have to ask for directions.

    There were more high fives.

    I didn’t wear sunglasses.

    Even though I knew to expect Heartbreak, it still hurt.

    I did not vomit.
