wow kendal that is a pretty active year! im hoping to get 3 competitions in.

maybe a mystery competition at the end of the year. maybe my first marathon? maybe a half ironman?

Okay, I have now registered for Azalea, Riverwood, Kerr Lake, Wilmington and……the RedRock Soma Half Ironman.

OK. This blog thing seems like a lot of work, but I’ll roll with it. Doesn’t seem to work too well with my IBM typewriter…
Anyway, adding to the events this year, Sandman and I are running the hood to coast relay in August – http://www.hoodtocoast.com. It’s his fault that I’m on the Cramps team and I intend to hold him fully responsible for any injuries, physical or otherwise, that I suffer. (How do you do one of those smiley, just joking, icons on this thing?)

As for nicknames, I put Squeek, a variation on Squeeky, but I am actively looking for a replacement.

Squeeky: Hey Kim, I put down the name “Squeek” as my nickname for the Richmond Marathon. It sounds more like a seasoned trail runner, a relative of Squonk or Skwirl.
Kim: What? That’s not your nickname. They called you Squeeky, not Squeek. You don’t get to change it. That would be like Christophe deciding not to use Topher, or Rama saying no to Sandbagger, just because they don’t like it. Go back on-line and change it back.
